tasks wait - Waits until a task manager task is finished and gets its status. If timeout is set and it expires, the appropriate message with failure reason will be printed.
nodetool tasks wait <task_id> [(--quiet|-q)] [--timeout <time_in_second>]
--quiet
or -q
- if set, status of a task isn’t printed. Instead the proper exit code is returned:
0 - if task finished successfully
123 - if task failed
124 - if request timed out
125 - if an error occurred and the task status is undetermined
--timeout
- timeout in seconds.
nodetool tasks wait <task_id>
